February 28, 2020, is a very special day. It’s Jim Watson’s birthday! Jim joined the Trost Financial team in 2019 as the newly-appointed Vice President. Jim’s focus is on creating lifelong relationships with clients and supporting the company’s mission in guiding individuals toward financial independence and personal fulfillment. Jim came to Trost Financial from Wells Capital Management. With over 12 years of financial services experience, he’s developed a keen insight into the value of developing strong relationships with each and every client.

At a young age, Jim learned the importance of saving for retirement. He loves to work with clients of the younger generation in getting them set up to work toward success.

Jim has been very happily married to his wife Colleen for 15 years. They live in Palos Verdes Estates with their two boys, Cameron (12) and Bryce (9).
HOBBIES
Jim loves to stay active! His favorite hobbies are snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking and going to the beach with his family.
